Former Labour Councillor and Zionist Campaigner Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Offences

Liron Woodcock-Velleman, a prominent figure in Labour politics and anti-White advocacy, has admitted to sexually targeting a 13-year-old girl

Liron Woodcock-Velleman, 30, a former Labour councillor and political operative with ties to some of the UK’s most influential advocacy organisations, pleaded guilty in January 2026 to child sex offences at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.

The British-Israeli activist admitted to one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and one count of attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity. The offences occurred between December 3 and December 10, 2024, and were uncovered through a Metropolitan Police sting operation.

The Offences

Court proceedings revealed disturbing details of Woodcock-Velleman’s conduct. He sent naked photographs of himself to the victim, asked whether she was a virgin and if she was home alone, and demanded explicit images in return. The victim was just 13 years old.

His defence lawyer described him as a “person of good character,” a “family man” who is currently unemployed and taking medication for depression. Woodcock-Velleman was released on conditional bail, which prohibits him from being in the company of anyone under 18. His sentencing has been scheduled for February 10, 2026.

A Career in Perversive Politics

Woodcock-Velleman had built a significant career within Labour-aligned organisations and anti-British campaigns before his downfall.

He served as Policy Officer for the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM), the Labour Party-affiliated organisation that pusher Jewish overrepresentation within the party. During his university years at the University of Leeds, where he studied politics and graduated around 2017-2018, he held the position of Youth and Students Officer for the JLM. He was also Campaigns Manager for the Union of Jewish Students.

Beyond his Jewish community work, Woodcock-Velleman worked as a Political Organiser for Hope not Hate, the prominent anti-White charity that campaigns against patriots, registered political parties, and White groups across the UK. He also served as Head of Politics at the Community trade union until early 2025.

Parliamentary Influence and Political Connections

Woodcock-Velleman’s reach extended to Westminster, where he contributed to discussions around the Online Safety Act—legislation specifically designed to protect children online. The bitter irony of an adviser on child protection legislation later being convicted of child sex offences has not been lost on commentators.

His political connections were substantial. He campaigned alongside current Prime Minister Keir Starmer and was described as an “ally” of London Mayor Sadiq Khan. He wrote articles for publications including The Times of Israel, HuffPost, and Medium, addressing topics such as campus antisemitism and the Labour Party’s handling of antisemitism complaints.

In 2017, he provided testimony to the USC Shoah Foundation about his experiences with contemporary antisemitism in the UK, citing his grandfather’s survival of the Holocaust as a formative influence on his activism.

Resignation and Aftermath

Woodcock-Velleman was elected as a Labour councillor for the Whetstone ward on Barnet Council in North London in 2022. He resigned from this position in April 2025 under unclear circumstances, simultaneously deleting his social media accounts. A Labour Party spokesperson has confirmed he is no longer a member of the party.

The case has drawn attention to Hope not Hate, which has faced previous scrutiny including a Charity Commission investigation after a Conservative MP accused the organisation of funnelling taxpayer funds into political activism.

Sentencing Ahead

As Woodcock-Velleman awaits his February sentencing. A man who advised Parliament on protecting children online, who campaigned against British values and Family values, and who held positions of trust within Jewish and Labour communities, has now been exposed as someone who targeted a child for sexual exploitation.

The court will determine his sentence on February 10, 2026, at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. It will be interesting to here if he has any character witnesses?
