A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended Sunday’s National Front Remembrance Parade and contributed to making it a truly memorable and successful event. Despite facing unexpected logistical challenges early in the day, including difficulties with a hire van that failed to charge, our dedicated team demonstrated remarkable resilience and resourcefulness. Through swift action and determination, we successfully arranged Union flags at short notice, ensuring the parade could proceed with the dignity and respect it deserved. Our procession began at Bressenden Place, where participants gathered in solemn unity before marching through the historic streets of London to the Cenotaph and the Women of World War II Memorial. The parade culminated at two of Britain’s most significant war memorials, where we paid our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. At the Cenotaph, this iconic memorial to the fallen of both World Wars and subsequent conflicts, we laid wreaths in solemn remembrance of all those who gave their lives in service to their country. We also honored the invaluable contributions of women during the Second World War at the Women of World War II Memorial, recognising their courage, sacrifice, and essential role. The parade was met with a brilliant and heartwarming response from members of the public, whose support and appreciation made the day truly special. The enthusiastic support from spectators, who clapped, cheered, and captured the moment through photographs, served as a powerful reminder of the enduring importance of remembrance and the public’s deep respect for those who served. This successful commemoration stands as a testament to the dedication of all participants and the continued relevance of honoring our nation’s military history. The positive reception from the public reinforces the significance of these remembrance events in our collective consciousness. To all who participated, organised, and supported Sunday’s National Front Remembrance Parade, your commitment to honoring our heroes will not be forgotten. Lest We Forget
