Obituary to Mike Easter – Written By Kevin Bryan
Born in Woodford, Essex 1935; War years in Widnes, Lancashire;
Educated Reigate and Imperial College; 2yrs national service; BSc in Chemistry and worked as owner and MD of a chemical manufacturing company.
Married, 4 grown up children, 8 grandchildren.
1976 joined National Front. 1982 founder member of the New National Front that became the BNP.
1988 joined the rump National Front but remained in the BNP. Left the BNP and continued with the National Front in 2009. Was an area official for all these parties and until his death was Southeast Regional Organiser for the NF.
I think the first time I met Mike Easter was at the BNP annual Rally in the 1980’s, it was outside of Friends House on Euston Road in London. The late John Peacock introduced me to Mike and several others that he labelled the Party Officers. That first time I met Mike impressed me, he was very smart and came across as a well-spoken Gentleman, I myself was no more than a young street activist at the time and so meeting someone like Mike that was happy to shake my hand and say hello was an honour.
I then do not recall speaking to Mike till quite a few years later, this was at a meeting where we were planning Chris Jackson’s Leadership challenge against Nick Griffin.
Upon Joining the National Front, I was in regular contact with Mike as we were both on the Directorate. At Directorate meetings everyone would listen to Mike’s advice and what he had to say although we never of course always agreed.
Mike was an old school British Nationalist whereas some of us on the Directorate would class ourselves as Racial Nationalists and cared not only about whites in Britain but whites around the world, Mike was only ever interested in the white British people and I can understand that as our country, our race & nation has been under attack for decades and Mike knew that unless the British people wake up then all is lost.
Up until a couple of years ago, Mike and myself would have weekly telephone conversations, Mike wasn’t only interested in talking about the Party he would always ask about my family and my business.
Whilst in hospital after the car accident that I had in 2014 a letter arrived, it was off Mike Easter and inside was a personal cheque to help me through the weeks ahead as i recuperated from the injuries that I had suffered.
Mike has been in ill health now for quite some time so unlike with Richard Edmonds death Mike’s death has not come as a shock, but it is still upsetting that another old Party stalwart and friend has passed away.
Many will have their own memories of Mike Easter and whatever those memories we will always remember Mike for his dedication and the hours that he put in for the cause, whenever there was a rally a march and even the long hard Remembrance Day march Mike Easter would be there, Mike also worked tirelessly with Chris Jackson on administrational duties.
Mike was of course a very dedicated family man and leaves behind his wife and family, and I am sure he will be sorely missed by them.
Rest In Peace Mike you have done your duty.

He was so dedicated and patriotic, he would every Friday without fail, leaflet in the Kent countryside villages where he lived, often on his own. And what thanks did he get? Some busybody complaining, resulting in a police search. RIP Mike, one of Britain’s best.
…….although not always on his own, Richard Edmonds would often make the journey to go with him. Both much missed.
